MEDICINAL INGREDIENT(S): Each (dose) 1 rounded tablespoon (12.0g) contains: 3.4g Organic Plantago ovata (psyllium, seed husks)

Contraindications: Do not use if you have difficulty swallowing. Do not use if you have diabetes mellitus in which blood sugar is difficult to regulate. Do not use if you are experiencing a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or failure to defecate following the use of another laxative product.

Known adverse reaction(s): Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur following inhaled and/or ingested psyllium; in which case, discontinue use. May cause temporary gas and/or bloating. Store between 15ºC and 30ºC. Protect product from humidity.  Filled by weight, not volume, may settle.

DIRECTIONS - General:  Take 2 hours before or after taking other medications.  Effects observed 12-24 hours after the first dose, and may take 2-3 days. Minimum daily dose may be increased, up to the maximum daily dose, until desired effect is obtained.

ADULTS (and Children 13 years and older): Mix 1 rounded tablespoon (12.0 g) into a 250 ml (8 oz) glass of cool water or juice up to a maximum 3 times daily. Stir briskly (optional text stir with fork) and drink immediately. Drink a full glass (250 ml or 8 ounces) of liquid with each dose.  Maintain adequate fluid intake. 

CHILDREN (6 TO 12 YEARS): Mix 1/2 rounded tablespoon (6.0 g) into a 250 ml (8 oz) glass of cool water or juice up to a maximum 3 times daily. Stir briskly (optional text stir with fork) and drink immediately. Drink a full glass (250 ml or 8 ounces) of liquid with each dose.  Maintain adequate fluid intake. 

When taken to lower cholesterol: Use for a minimum of 8 weeks to see beneficial effects, Adults only Mix 1 rounded tablespoon (12.0 g) into a 250 ml (8 oz) glass of cool water or juice up to a maximum 3 times daily. Stir briskly (optional text stir with fork) and drink immediately. Drink a full glass (250 ml or 8 ounces) of liquid with each dose.  Maintain adequate fluid intake. 

Adults only for appetite suppression: 2 rounded tablespoons (24.0g) 1 - 3 time(s) per day
